A friend of mine asked me to paint a picture of his father in military uniform from a very worn and torn photograph. Several requests were made after that to paint other family members in uniform.
Tom, a very special man to many (11X14)
I've recently been asked to paint family members from old photographs. Many of these portraits were taken from primarily black and white photos, circa 1930s to 1970s.
Many of these family members are deceased which makes recreating an heirloom for ages to come a very special honor.
